Sierra Club Program: Discover the beauty,
mystery and magic of Africa: Otto Center, San Diego Zoo, 7pm
On her return from a recent 2-month
trip to Africa, Corinne Waldenmayer will share her experiences
and provide an exhilarating insight into some of the many remarkable
geographic features of the continent, the diversity of the African
people and their customs, and the magnificent wildlife. Through
a visual presentation and her own stories and history, Corinne
will take you on a journey to discover the beauty, mystery, and
magic of sub-Saharan Africa.
The program will also discuss trials that face the continent in
the 21st century and draw parallels between those challenges facing
conservation organizations in Africa and the US. Having co-founded
the African Conservancy to preserve traditional cultures and wildlife
in Africa, Corinne's passion to conserve some of the last remaining
pristine environments is inspirational to all who hear her speak.
Corinne is available as a speaker at your events. Contact us on
