| The Damara zebra lives on the savannah grasslands of eastern Africa . They form gregarious associations in large herds sometimes numbering several hundreds, often with wildebeest, antelope and ostriches. They frequently cover up to 10 miles a day and can reach speeds of 40 miles per hour. | |
